Rebecca is a freelance illustrator of children's books, young adult book covers, and magazine stories. She also does character design for games and concept art for films. Her clients range from large publishers to self-published authors. She enjoys bringing all sorts of stories into visual life, and has a special interest in folk tales and any story with strong and positive female characters.
Rebecca primarily paints traditionally in mixed media. She received both her BFA and her MFA in Illustration from the Hartford Art School.

Teaching: Rebecca teaches classes in children's book illustration and drawing at the Workhouse Art Center in Lorton, VA. She is a regular guest speaker at colleges and art guilds.
